The supplier removes any nails on the surface before sending us the materials, but we make use of metal detector wands and other tools of the trade to ensure that nothing is left but the reclaimed wood itself.

To set our wood apart from the other options on the reclaimed market, we use enormous kilns to dry out the milled lumber.
