We had the pleasure of supplying our weathered antique reclaimed wood for this stunning Whitefish Modern house in Pequot Lakes. With interiors designed by Tays & Co. Design Studios, this new family legacy will stand strong for generations.
The spacious luxury home is built with a mix of natural and industrial materials for a modern yet rustic appeal. The mix of stone, steel and wood throughout the house highlights the beauty and history of the lakes around it.
Vertical wooden siding and antique stone exteriors highlight the sense of design and material composition brought to this project. The alternating color wooden panels create a strong visual structure, while stone sections accent the home and pull the eye to key areas like the porch or garage.
Inside, more clean lines greet us with warm cedar paneling and weathered antique reclaimed wood box beams across the kitchen and living room ceilings. Stone and steel are also present again featuring in the walls, light fixtures, and many accents.
More of our weathered antique timbers appear in the great room vaulted ceiling as well as the master bedroom. A custom bed frame and bathroom vanity crafted in reclaimed wood blend in with the other natural materials for a cohesive look all around.
